The project was to inform people of the decline in family values in today’s society through a series of six posters. The posters were inspired by 1940’s wartime when families came first, they ate together, socialized and had manners.
The set of six information style posters are based on:
– Families eating together
– Families spending more time together
– Parents teaching their children manners.
I used a mix of beautiful imagery and clever wording to create amusing and memorable posters, which stays in the mind of the viewer. They have a very grainy aged look adding to that 1940’s feel, the illustration style is very classically vintage but still cartoonish so it will engage a broader spectrum of viewers.
